The 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 offers four different trim styles, including Life, Style, Family, and Max. The Life trim offers LED headlights, a 10-inch infotainment screen and standardized safety systems. If you opt for the Family trim, you can expect a larger battery, upgraded headlights, and a panoramic sunroof. The 2022 ID.4 has two different options for the battery-powered engine. The Life and Style trims have a 52kWh battery, paired with a 168bhp electric motor. On the Family and Max trims, you can find a 77kWh battery with a 201bhp electric motor. While mile range changes based on the trim, you can expect between 200 and 300 miles per charge. The electric SUV drives powerfully, with an acute focus on comfort and efficiency.
The 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 has two performance specification options: Pure and Pure Performance. If you choose Pure, you can expect 220Nm of torque, while Pure Performance produces 330Nm of torque. Some vehicles are outfitted with four-wheel drive, yet each trim is easy to drive. The all-electric vehicle ensures a smooth, quiet ride for the driver and all passengers. Along with a long-lasting battery, the ID.4 can charge quickly, going from 5% to 80% charged in under an hour.
This SUV has a simplistic yet highly technical interior design, giving the car a modern feel. Each car has an infotainment system and an almost fully digital dashboard. The driver can control most of the car's functions with various touchscreens, and the most important vehicle information is visible on the driver's dash. There is significant space for both passengers and storage, making the vehicle functional for all sorts of activities or travel.
Volkswagen has included several safety features in the 2022 ID.4. Some of these features include lane-keeping assistance or traffic-sign recognition. There are also front and rear parking sensors to help maneuver the vehicle. On the interior, an LED strip runs underneath the windshield and flashes to alert the driver of important information.
